Testimonials

“Bruce proved to be the perfect DJ for the 10th birthday celebration of our company. I told him about the crowd and the band he’d be following and he put down the perfect groove to fit the situation, and was patient and graceful when we hit the venue’s inevitable technical speed bumps . I wish I’d have had him just play the whole party… lots of people were so stoked that he was even onsite, including myself.”
– Mike Wilson – Co-Founder, Devolver Digital

Oh. My.
Goodness.
The dance party was the best. It felt like church. I haven’t danced like that in a long time. So cathartic.
You’re the best.
– Jenn – Write Doe Bay (Writer’s Workshop)

“I have had the pleasure of working with Bruce as a partner of SIFF Closing Night Gala, as well as attended a wedding where Bruce performed. In both cases, Bruce played a perfectly eclectic blend of music spanning genres and generations. At each event the dance floor was filled, energized from start-to-finish. I look forward to working with Bruce again!”
– Phoebe Hopkins, Events Manager, Seattle International Film Festival

“Bruce was such a great inspiration to our audience and such a pleasure to work with as we mixed it up for our opening keynote. Attendees couldn’t get enough of Bruce’s stories and insights into the music industry. The next evening, Bruce joined us again and DJ’d our Seattle Evening Out at the Experience Music Project. With Bruce providing music in the EMP Sky Church while scenes of the outdoors scrolled behind, our attendees enjoyed an evening of his music mix and side bar conversations with him. Thanks again Bruce, I hope our paths cross again.”
– Michelle Biersner, Director of Education and Events, Outdoor Industry Association

“Bruce did an amazing job DJing at the GeekWire Summit, our biggest tech conference in Seattle with more than 700 attendees. He set the perfect tone for our geeky audience, picking tracks from Kraftwerk to Talking Heads to some of his Sub Pop favorites. We highly recommend Bruce for your event.”
– John Cook, Co-Founder, GeekWire

“The Orcas Island Film Festival attracts all kinds of people of all ages, we knew we needed someone that could reach all those people in a way that brought them all together. Bruce did that perfectly! I’m thrilled to say our first big gala party was a huge success. He had everyone dancing, we had to move the late night screening so people could stay at the party, it was that good!”
– Jared Lovejoy, Artistic Director, Orcas Island Film Festival

“Bruce Pavitt was our first choice to try a new approach to the Friday Night Yoga Studio show, which has become a staple at Doe Bay Fest. It is always risky to change something that is working, but we wanted to try a dance party and Bruce rocked it. More importantly he is a friend of Doe Bay and gets the place. The fact that he is an icon in the alternative music scene is icing on the cake.”
– Joe Brotherton, Founder / Producer, Doe Bay Fest

“I do a ton of events each year and yours was the best DJ (and smartest) I’ve heard in Seattle. Nice!!!!”
– Cory from Ravishing Radish /Theater 22

“We LOVE your DJing and you will definitely be our man next time we hire a DJ.”
– Angie, Workplace Experience Coordinator, POP Agency

“Every song surpassed the next. It was like having a new girlfriend every 3 minutes.”
– Charles Smith, Founder, Charles Smith Wines

“We were THRILLED with your performance at our office party at the Crocodile last night. You really captured the flavor we were after and you also totally nailed the dance vibe and kept people moving once people were properly lubricated.”
– Charlie, Olson Kundig Architects.

“Thank you for providing such a diverse and eclectic set for our Equinox party!”
– Nancy Kim, Human Resource Manager, Krekow Jennings
